Halifax Regional Police responded to two separate incidents of indecent acts Tuesday.

At 8:08 a.m., police say they were contacted by staff of a Quinpool Road video store in regards to a man believed to be inside masturbating. The man left before police arrived, but was located and arrested near Robie and Young streets.

Police have charged the man with an indecent act and he will appear in court at a later date.

Then just before 3 p.m. Tuesday, police say they received a call from someone about a man who had exposed himself on a walking path on Parkmount Drive in Halifax.

Police combed the area using a K-9 unit but a suspect wasn’t found. He is described as a white male in 20s, with light brown hair. He was said to be wearing red ankle length shorts.
