Police are searching for suspects after a late-night altercation turned into a giant street brawl involving at least 40 people, sending one man to hospital with serious stab wounds.
The huge fight erupted around 2:30 a.m. yesterday on the city’s south side, near 61 Avenue and 104 Street.
During the brawl, a man was stabbed in the stomach, but initial reports indicated that a second person could have been stabbed as well.
The 20-year-old victim was rushed to hospital and treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police continue to investigate eyewitness accounts that one male suspect fled the area in a vehicle shortly after the victim was stabbed.
