Two men are facing weapon and drug charges after a traffic stop in Dartmouth yesterday.

Halifax Regional Police say at 12:48 p.m. information was received from an off-duty officer that a man with an outstanding warrant was inside Mic Mac Mall.

Police say the man left the mall in a vehicle, which they stopped on Mic Mac Boulevard. The passenger was identified and arrested and a subsequent police search resulted in finding a loaded handgun, a quantity of drugs and money and a can a bear spray. A 20-year-old from Truro and a 19-year-old from Lake Echo will be in Dartmouth court today to face charges.
