Adam Baboulas and Dan Schutte of the Saint Mary’s Huskies have been named to the East roster for Canadian Interuniversity Sport football’s East-West Bowl on May 9.
Baboulas, an Oshawa, Ont., native, is a third-year offensive lineman. Schutte, a second-year Red Deer, Alta., native, was a second-team all-Canadian defensive tackle.
The East-West Bowl will be hosted by the University of Western Ontario at TD Waterhouse Stadium in London, Ont., at 2 p.m. It primarily serves as a showcase of players eligible for the 2010 Canadian Football League draft.
Halifax’s Will Tanner, a wide receiver with the Acadia Axemen, and Terence Bay’s Adrian Saturley, an Axemen defensive end, also earned spots on the East roster.
