In a press release titled “Parents of the Year Award,” Richmond RCMP say they are searching for a man and a woman who allegedly used their children to steal $3,000 worth of movies from Future Shop.

The couple were caught on security camera March 3, walking into the store with two young girls and a stroller.

“The children picked out which movies they wanted to have and the parents loaded them into the child’s stroller,” said RCMP Cpl. Jennifer Pound.

In all, they are accused of stealing about 80 to 100 Blu-ray and DVD videos.

Anyone with information is asked to call the RCMP at 604-278-1212, ext. 2282.
