Police are investigating after a serious collision on the Ottawa River Parkway yesterday left two men injured and a car with a “devastating amount of damage,” paramedics said.
Emergency workers were called to the parkway west of Parkdale Avenue just after 3 a.m., when an Acura Integra left the roadway and collided with a large tree.
The front-seat passenger, a 19-year-old male, suffered life-threatening multi-system trauma to his head, chest and abdomen and is in critical condition at the Ottawa Hospital Trauma Unit.
