A 50-year-old Ottawa man who was struck by a bus Thursday has died.
Richard Beaupre was hit by a school bus Thursday morning at about 11:15 a.m. as he walked at the intersection of Russell Road and Haig Drive.
Paramedics treated and transported the pedestrian to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver and three children who were on the bus at the time of the collision were not injured.
Police note the victim’s family has donated organs in the hope of helping others.
