Two pedestrians were struck by cars yesterday.

Two pedestrians were struck by cars yesterday.

At around 8 a.m., a 44-year-old male was hit by a car while he was crossing the street at Dunbrack Street and Main Avenue. A 72-year-old woman was issued a ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian.

Then in the afternoon, a 72-year-old woman was hit by a car at King and Ochterloney streets in Dartmouth. A 44-year-old woman also received a ticket for failing to yield.

Both victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
