Peel police officer found guilty

A Peel police officer who drove around asking young girls for directions for “no legitimate purpose” has been found guilty of discreditable conduct under the Police Services Act.

“There is no doubt in my mind … that Const. (Roger) Yeo’s conduct has fallen below the expectations of society,” Staff Supt. Roman Boychuk said in delivering his 44-page decision last night.

Charged more than two years ago, Yeo admitted he talked with “pretty” young girls, but said his actions were harmless.
