Is billionaire businessman, Dallas Mavericks owner and “Shark Tank” investor Mark Cuban trying to make up for saying the twitchy Twitter-finger president-elect gets “stupider before your eyes?” That’s one of the questions after a photo obtained by TMZ shows the staunch and vocal Hillary Clinton supporter meeting with Donald Trump’s chief strategist Stephen Bannon in a Manhattan hotel bar Tuesday. In the photo, the two are seen sitting at a small table inside the St. Regis Hotel’s King Cole Bar, which is not far from Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue.
Cuban told MSNBC last month that he has done business with Bannon, former executive of Brietbart News, in the past. When Bannon was named CEO of Trump’s campaign in August, Cuban tweeted he is “far far smarter” than his boss. Over the course of the election, Cuban has said Trump was “clueless” and “ignorant.” Was the tete-a-tete just two old work buddies catching up? Or was it actually a shark-like strategic business move? Only time — or Twitter — will tell.
