PHOTOS: Searching N-word in Google Maps brings you to White House

If you have Google Maps installed on your mobile device and you search for “ni**a house or ni**er house”your search will take you directly to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave – the address of The White House.

The glitch also produces the same result when you go to the desktop version of Google Maps.

When you type “ni**er college” and “ni**er university” the map system will bring you to Howard Univesity and Lincoln University – two well known historical black colleges. Also, when you input “ni**er lover” into the search field, the map will bring you the Lincoln Memorial.

“Some inappropriate results are surfacing in Google Maps that should not be, and we apologize for any offence this may have caused. Our teams are working to fix this issue quickly,” a spokesperson told Huffington Post about the recent search findings.

We’re not sure how long it will take for Google to repair this terrible glitch, but as of Wednesday May 20, you can still find these places using those words.
