A man was arrested on a Rails to Trails path for allegedly being intoxicated on his ATV.

The incident happened on Saturday around 11:30 p.m. in Timberlea. RCMP were patrolling the trails when they stopped a man for not wearing his helmet while driving his ATV. RCMP then arrested him for driving impaired.

The middle-aged man from Timberlea gave two breath samples over the legal limit. He will appear in Halifax provincial court on Dec. 15 to face a charge of impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
