It will be a least another week before police determine what charges a 54-year-old woman could face following a fatal collision late Monday afternoon in Cole Harbour.
Halifax RCMP spokesman Cpl. Joe Taplin said yesterday they have taken blood alcohol samples from the woman to be analyzed, with the results expected in about a week. When the results are known, Taplin said police will talk to the Crown about what charges may be laid.
The woman is alleged to have left the scene of one collision before causing a second one nearby at the intersection of Cole Harbour Road and Forest Hills Parkway. The second crash killed 57-year-old Gary Erroll Pfinder of Cole Harbour.
