Police bust sophisticated cocaine operation

Two men have been charged and police are looking for a third.

Two warrants were executed on houses Aug. 23 in the 1100 block of 37 Street SW and the 0-100 block of Hemlock Crescent SW.

During the search, police seized a hydraulic cocaine brick press, a sophisticated way of packing and shipping cocaine and very rare for police to seize.

Other items seized included: 3.6 kilograms of Benzocaine, $181,400 street value, 1.5 kilograms of cocaine, $152,410 street value, 68.3 grams of ecstasy, $3,555 street value, and other paraphernalia.

Joshua Lloyd Kemp, 23 and Kyle David Hunter, 23, both of Calgary have been charged with numerous possession and trafficking charges.

An arrest warrant for Michael Philip Paulson, 23, of Calgary has been issued.
