Police have confirmed that a body recovered Thursday from Toronto’s harbour is that of a missing Peterborough-area teenager.
Mason MacPhail, 16, of Cavan, Ont., had been missing since Tuesday night when he became separated from three friends after they attended a concert in east-end Toronto.
Police say a post-mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
MacPhail's body was located at about 11 a.m. by the police marine unit in a shipping canal.
