Police have released the name of the man who died in a motorcycle accident Sunday afternoon.

Police have released the name of the man who died in a motorcycle accident Sunday afternoon.

Halifax RCMP say Timothy Miller, a 48-year-old from West Lawrencetown Road, died of injuries resultng from a collision with another motorcycle on Waverley Road.

Police say at about 5:10 p.m., two motorcycles travelling together toward Dartmouth rounded a slight curve in the road and may have have lost control. Police believe the two vehicles may have come in contact with each other before crashing.

A 46-year-old female who was driving the other motorcycle remains in serious condition in hospital.
