Halifax Regional Police are looking for two males who they say assaulted a 17-year-old youth who was walking Tuesday night in Uniacke Square.

The victim was on Heron Walk just after 7 p.m. when police say he was approached by the males, grabbed and had his pockets searched.

Cash and the victim’s iPod were stolen, with the two suspects fleeing the area, according to police.

The youth wasn’t injured.

Police describe the suspects as black men their early 20s, around five feet nine inches with chinstrap facial hair.
