Banff RCMP are seeking two teens who may have left the area on their own accord, but have been reported missing.

Alexander Haley, 16, and Madison Smith, 14, disappeared the morning of Dec. 8 after they both left for school, but did not show up, RCMP said.

To date, neither individual has been located, according to police.

Police said, though the pair have been reported missing, it is believed they left on their own.

Haley is described as 6-1, 152 lbs with brown hair and eyes and last seen wearing a sky blue and white coat with jeans. He also had 2 large hiking bags, believed to be carrying clothes and a computer, police said.

Smith is 5-3, 111 lbs, with short dark brown to black hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, light jeans and possibly a mint green hat.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Banff RCMP at 403-762-2228.
