A 50-year-old Dartmouth man was arrested Monday night after showing up at a gas station he had allegedly robbed just three days earlier.
Halifax Regional Police say a man arrived at the door of the Ultramar station at 220 Victoria Rd. at about 5:30 p.m. and pressed the security buzzer. The clerk inside told police he believed it was the same man who had robbed the store of an undisclosed amount of cash on Friday. Instead of opening the door, the clerk phoned police, who caught up with the suspect a short distance away.
Police said Kevin Urquhart was to appear in Dartmouth provincial court yesterday to face robbery charges.
