Calgary Police are after two men after a joyriding incident involving a Calgary Transit bus early Sunday.


According to police a Calgary Transit bus driver had parked his bus to use the washroom at a restaurant located in the 7200 block of 52 St SE around 5:50 a.m. Upon returning to the bus — it was gone and the driver called police immediately, they said.


Around 6:30 a.m. police received a citizen call, reporting a damaged and abandoned Calgary Transit bus parked and still running in the 0-100 block of Penworth Close SE.


Surveillance video from inside the bus and in the drive cam shows the driver and his accomplice driving erratically, including on sidewalks and private property.


Police also believe the bus was involved in two subsequent hit-and-run incidents during the incident.


The arrest is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
