Investigators combed the scene Thursday where a man was shot in Dartmouth Wednesday night.
Police say they do not believe the incident was a random act. The victim, a 33-year-old man, remains in hospital. His injuries were initially described as serious, but police had no updates on his condition Thursday.
A number of shots were reported to police at 10:20 p.m. on Wednesday. The man was found bleeding on a pathway near Hastings Drive and Regency Drive.
A suspicious vehicle was observed leaving the area, with a male driver and male passenger. The vehicle was described as a black SUV, with silver rims.
Forensic identification unit and investigators canvassed the scene and spoke with potential witnesses Thursday.
