Police quiet on city’s latest homicide

Calgary Police are releasing few details after interviewing over 30 people during their investigation into the city’s 14th homicide early Monday.

A man, believed to be 25 to 30 years old and deejaying during a domino tournament was allegedly stabbed while engaged in a physical altercation with a group who entered the establishment around 2:30 a.m. Monday, according to witness accounts.

Police say they have conducted an autopsy of the victim; however the next of kin have not yet been notified and the cause of death will not be released for investigative reasons.

Police believe there are others who were in attendance who may have more information.
