Ottawa police have released photos of a bank robbery suspect Wednesday in hopes that the public will help identify a woman who allegedly stuck up a bank earlier this week.

At about 6 p.m. on Monday, a lone woman entered the TD Canada Trust in the 1500 block of Bank Street and produced a note demanding cash.

After being provided an undisclosed amount of money, she fled the area on foot.

There were no injuries, police say.

The suspect is described as a woman between 18- and 22-years-old between 5'1” and 5'5" tall, 120 to 130 pounds, with dark hair, a darker complexion and brown eyes. She was wearing a black winter jacket with white fur around the hood.

Anyone with information about this incident or any other robbery is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Robbery Section at 613-236-1222 ext. 5116, or Crime Stoppers at 613-233-8477 (TIPS).
