Ottawa police have released a description of a man in hopes the public can help identify a suspect after an Ottawa man suffered serious injuries in an assault early Sunday.
Police are continuing their investigation into an assault, which occurred in a forested area near Lafayette Street and Den Haag Drive.
Police said Monday that the 22-year-old victim and the attacker are known to each other and that it wasn’t a random attack.
The victim was taken to hospital and treated for serious injuries. He is currently in stable condition. Police have not made any arrests.
Police are seeking a black male, 22-25 years of age, five-feet 10 inches, 160 pounds and wearing a blue Mecca tracksuit.
