SARNIA, Ont. - Police in Sania, Ont., were called to a strange break-in over the weekend.

Const. Heather Emmons says it appears someone tried to steal an airplane.

The two-seater was being stored in a shed.

The owner found it sitting outside, with damage to a wing where it hit the side of the building - and footprints on the wing.

Entry to the shed appears to have been made through a side door. Sheet metal siding had also been pried open.

Police believe the incident happened sometime between last Tuesday and Saturday. (CHOK)
