Halifax Regional Police are on the lookout for a man they say robbed the Royal Bank on the corner of Quinpool Road and Oxford Street yesterday morning.
Police say at 10:35 a.m. they received a report of a man entering the bank and demanding money from staff. Police say he received an undisclosed amount of money and then fled the scene on foot.

No weapon was seen or mentioned, police say, and there were no injuries.
Police spokesperson Theresa Rath said they received reports of a man running in the area of Beech and Oak streets shortly after the incident, but a search by officers and a K-9 unit was unsuccessful in locating anyone.
The suspect is described by police as a white man in his mid-20s, between five-foot-seven and five-foot-10 in height. He was wearing a black bandana over his face, a blue knit toque, dark sweater, blue track pants and white sneakers.
