Police seek 10 men in brutal club beating

Toronto police are looking for up to 10 men who beat a 27-year-old man outside a downtown club early yesterday morning.

 

Toronto police are looking for up to 10 men who beat a 27-year-old man outside a downtown club early yesterday morning.

The victim was leaving the Rockwood Night Club near King and John streets at around 2:40 a.m. yesterday when he was approached by eight to 10 men.

One suspect pulled out a glass bottle and struck the victim on the head, knock­ing him to the ground.

The victim was then slashed in the abdomen and punched several times before the suspects fled in two cars. He was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

One suspect is described as white, 19 to 22 years old, thin build, braces on his teeth, short brown hair, wearing a black Abercrombie Fitch T-shirt with white writing, and blue jeans.

 

A second suspect is described as Asian, 19 to 25 years old, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-9, thin build, 160 pounds, wearing a red Yankees baseball cap and a black leather jacket.
