Dead man

Calgary cops are looking for help to identify a man found dead in the Bow River two weeks ago.

Police say conventional methods used to identify the body found near the river on Aug. 4 have failed and are now asking for the public’s help to find out who the man is.

He’s described as a 5-foot-7 Caucasian male, weighing about 190 pounds with light brown, curly short hair.

Meanwhile, a second body found along the Bow River by two fishermen last week has been identified as Ronald David Hamilton. Police are asking for anyone who knows his next-of-kin to contact them.

Insp. Luch Berti said foul play isn’t suspected in either death. Anyone with information about either man is asked to call police at 266-1234 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
