Halifax Regional Police are still trying to locate a third youth in relation to the torching of a north-end Halifax playground nine days ago.
On Friday, police arrested two boys, aged 13 and 15, for their alleged role in the vandalism of the playset at St. Stephen’s Elementary School. A third youth was also wanted by police, but the person hasn’t been located.

Police and Halifax fire fighters were called to the school just before 11 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19 because was one section of playground equipment was set on fire. Police say the fire was intentionally set and it has led to the arrest of the two youths, who are facing arson charges and will appear in court at a later date.
