The Ottawa police guns and gangs unit is seeking the public’s assistance in locating an Ottawa woman wanted in connection with an assault and numerous weapons offences.
Police said that on June 28, a woman was assaulted at her residence. Police said the suspects, a man and a woman, were known to the victim, who suffered minor injuries.
Police arrested Sterwine Lendoye, 26, of Ottawa on July 9 and charged him with assault with a weapon, possessing dangerous weapon, uttering threats, possessing unregistered firearm and occupying a motor vehicle with a firearm.
Police are seeking Crystal Duncan, 23, of Ottawa. Anyone with information should call 613-236-1222, ext. 5050.
