Police veteran named new deputy chief

A 26-year veteran of the Ottawa Police Service has been named the force’s new deputy chief of police.

A 26-year veteran of the Ottawa Police Service has been named the force’s new deputy chief of police.

Charles Bordeleau, who was most recently superintendent of the emergency operations division, will fill the deputy chief position that Sue O’Sullivan left vacant when she took on a new post as federal ombudsman this month.
