OTTAWA – The official poster for the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver has been unveiled – and it’s distinctly Canadian.
The poster unveiled just by Parliament Hill features a giant stylized maple leaf.
The blue-and-green-coloured leaf is embedded with images like trees and waves that represent the geography of the Pacific host region.
Vancouver organizing committee head John Furlong says his committee wanted the poster to be a clear and graphic representation of the host country.
