No one claimed the jackpot on Saturday, so the money rolls over into Wednesday's drawing. Saturday's winning numbers were 21, 24, 36, 42 and 45. The Powerball was 15.
The record amount is also considered the fourth largest lottery jackpot in U.S. history.
The largest midweek jackpot — $590.5 million — was claimed by an elderly Florida woman in May.
If the jackpot doesn't clear the $400 million mark, the winning ticket holder who chooses the cash option would walk away with $230.3 million before the tax man takes his piece.
Now here is the multimillion dollar question: What are the odds?
Deep breath: one in 175.2 million that all six numbers will match.
Good luck. You'll need it.
