Darrell Dexter will take the next step in his burgeoning basketball career this weekend.
The Nova Scotia premier/longtime baller is playing in the Legends of Basketball game Saturday as part of the Premier Basketball League all-star weekend at the Halifax Metro Centre. Tip-off is 5 p.m.
Dexter’s illustrious career includes at least two basketball-related fundraiser events with the Halifax Rainmen and about one minute of playing time as the “13th man” on the Rainmen. He scored zero points.
“I think categorizing me as a legend may be a bit of an overstatement,” Dexter said this week.
