The published works of George Brown College’s Continuing Education writing instructors will be on display at Nicholas Hoare (45 Front St. E.) tomorrow.
George Brown Writers: Fact And Fiction will feature readings by the published instructors and will give guests, including students, faculty and writers, an opportunity to interact and converse with people who know what it takes to get published.
“This is our fourth year celebrating the work of the authors who teach in the continuing education writing programs. Nicholas Hoare, the bookstore, is once again our host and we could not ask for a better setting in the heart of the historic St. Lawrence neighbourhood,” says Lynne Kurylo from George Brown College. “This year we are featuring our journalism instructors, Gordana Icevska and Ian Darragh, along with our creative writing instructors, to showcase the range and diversity offered in our courses.”
The creative writing instructors who will read include Richard Scarsbrook, Emily Schultz, Jay Millar and Caro Soles — award-winning authors who have taken part in previous spring readings hosted by the school and Nicholas Hoare.
The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and admission is free. To reserve a spot, please contact David Hayes at 416-415-5000, ext. 2525. For more information, visit coned.georgebrown.ca/springreading.
