Is this video evidence that Gangnam Style's time has come and gone?
South Korean superstar Psy and his dancers were roundly, and loudly, booed when they performed their megahit before an important Italian soccer match on Sunday.
Around 80,000 fans had packed the Stadio Olimpico in Rome to watch the Italian Cup final between two leading teams, Roma and Lazio.
Psy was booked as the pre-game entertainment - but his performance was largely ignored by the fans until the end when the stadium erupted into a deafening chorus of boos.
Gangnam Style was issued by Psy on July 2012 and has been watched more than 1.6 billion times on youtube.
His follow up, 'Gentleman', released in April this year, has so far been viewed 82 million times.

Some observers claimed Italian fas booed because Psy is South Korean - and the Italian soccer team was on the receiving end of a highly controversial defeat at the hands of the South Korean team in the 2002 Soccer World Cup - held in South Korea.
