Haligonians had the chance to share their thoughts on three different drafts of a new central library design during a public forum last night.

Judith Hare, CEO of Halifax Public Libraries and the Toronto-based HOK Planning Group, presented the three scenarios at the Lord Nelson Hotel.

The project to replace the Spring Garden Road Memorial Library has been in the works for more than a decade.

Hare expressed her frustration to Metro Halifax last week that funding for the library had not been allotted in this year’s proposed municipal budget.
