Putin says he does not rule out scrapping visas for Georgians

Reuters

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday he did not rule out scrapping visas for Georgian citizens.

He said it was important to establish ties between the two countries' law enforcement agencies to jointly fight terrorism.

Russia introduced visas for Georgians in 2000. Georgia stopped requiring entry visas for Russian citizens in 2012.
