Questioning truthfulness of C-Train operations
First of all, I’d like to say I completely agree with the idea that itis the rider’s responsibility and nobody else’s to get onto the trainbefore it’s too late.
First of all, I’d like to say I completely agree with the idea that it is the rider’s responsibility and nobody else’s to get onto the train before it’s too late. It’s nobody’s fault but your own if you can’t hurry.
However, I don’t quite buy that operators have “no control” over the doors.
It’s just not true.
I’ve been in several situations where I have to run to the train and the lights on the doors indicate that I’m too late. The driver waves at me and sets the doors to open again for me with a smile. Clearly, the train operator had control of that.
As far as I’m concerned, perhaps operators have “no control” with some of the train models, but to state that none of the trains have that capability is nonsense.
