Radio hosts camp out in haunted house

Armed with ghost busters, a psychic and their trusty teddy bears, a pair of radio hosts had a haunted sleepover in Heritage Park’s Prince House Thursday night.

Buzz and Blake, of Amp Radio 90.3 FM, spent the night in the infamous haunted house, the site of numerous ghost stories.

But, really, how scary can it be?

“There is some spooky stuff here,” said Barb Munro, spokeswoman with Heritage Park. “Everybody has a story about the Prince House.”

Munro said staff and visitors have been reporting sightings in the house since the three-storey dwelling was moved to the park in 1967.

There have been reports of the third-storey lights being on, when in fact there are no lights on the third floor.

Others have reportedly seen a woman in costume changing a baby. That’s what prompted the morning show duo to check out the house.

“We wanted to see what was up in one of Calgary’s storied haunted houses,” said co-host Buzz Bishop.

Clairvoyant Kim and members of the Centre for Advanced Paranormal Investigation joined Buzz and Blake throughout the night.
