The Dingle and Black Rock beaches were closed to swimmers yesterday because of heavy rain over the weekend.
The closure comes 10 days after the beaches were declared safe for swimming.
This weekend’s downpour brought an overflow of wastewater into the harbour, a release said. Tests are being conducted and the beaches will reopen when the tests indicate the water is safe.
