LONDON, Ont. – Brandon Lesway, Tobias Rieder and Radek Faksa all scored twice Wednesday as the Kitchener Rangers built a seven-goal lead and coasted to an 8-3 victory over the London Knights in the Ontario Hockey League.

Lesway’s goals were his first two in the OHL after going scoreless in 36 games.

Murphy, who is the current OHL player of the week, added a pair of assists. The Carolina Hurricanes prospect now has four goals and 14 points in his last five games.

The loss ended London’s five-game winning streak. Earlier Wednesday London was announced as the No. 1 team in the CHL. Kitchener is No. 10.

John Gibson was solid for Kitchener with 45 saves.

Kitchener starter Michael Houser stopped 20 of 25 shots over 40 minutes and saw his nine-game winning streak end. Tyson Teichmann made seven saves on 10 shots in the third period.
