The RCMP have arrested a Pictou County man in relation to the discovery of a dead man in the Caribou area over the weekend.
Police said yesterday the man they arrested was known to both the deceased and police and is about 30 years old.
"We have somebody in custody, there are no charges yet," Cpl. Andrew Joyce said during the day yesterday.
The body of Kenneth Gregory McNamara, 30, was found on Saturday morning outside his home in Central Caribou.
RCMP say the investigation continues and they feel the public is not at risk. An autopsy was conducted over the weekend in Halifax and the death was confirmed as a homicide.
