The RCMP is investigating what it calls the unexpected sudden death of a three-year-old boy.
The child died Saturday afternoon after someone called 911 from a home in Kentville.
Police spokeswoman Sgt. Bridgit Leger told the CBC that an autopsy has been conducted and police are investigating every possibility in the death, including foul play.
No time frame was given on when the cause of death would be determined.
Investigators were again at the home where the child died yesterday. A make-shift memorial has been set up on the doorstep of the home.
