Police have seized, during a raid, what they call an “unusually large” amount of weapons and heavy-duty equipment — including an anti-tank rocket launcher — from a property in rural Kamloops.

RCMP officers took seven rifles, two shotguns, 11 handguns and a Canadian Army anti-tank rocket launcher along with as much as 40,000 rounds of ammunition, said Const. Cheryl Bush.

They also found a skid steer, backhoe, dune buggy, snowmobile and several vehicles, all of which were stolen.

“The drug seizure amounted to … (seven kg) of marijuana … and smaller amounts of cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine,” Bush said. A 38-year-old man has been arrested.
