Please obey or you could pay.

That's the message from Halifax RCMP, which issued a release yesterday asking the public to obey the no-parking signs at local beaches. With sunny weather and warm temperatures forecast through Sunday, police expect beaches to be busy the next several days.

Police said in the release no-parking signs are in place so emergency vehicles can get through. It said parking there there “may hinder or even stop emergency vehicles from reaching their destination."

No-parking violations can result in a ticket or having your vehicle towed.
