A regimental funeral for the Mountie officer killed in a crash while on a crackdown for speeders will be held in Valleyview Monday.
Const. James Lundblad, a seven-and-a-half-year member of the Alberta RCMP and native of Valleyview, was killed after a grain truck slammed into the side of his vehicle while on the lookout for speeders.
The service will be held in the Valleyview Arena May 11 and will start at 2 p.m. with the reception being hosted at the Memorial Hall in Valleyview.
