VANCOUVER, B.C. - A few of the standouts from the last instalment of the Canadian Country Music Awards will return to perform at this year's show.
Last year's male artist of the year, Johnny Reid, and top trophy winners Doc Walker and Terri Clark are scheduled to take the stage at Vancouver's GM Place on Sept. 13. Doc Walker took home five awards in last year's show and recently won a Juno for country recording of the year.
Nominees for the show will be announced July 29.
The show's executive producer, Scott Henuset, said more performers would be announced soon.
"This is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of talent," Henuset said. "This stage will see the best and brightest that Canada has to offer as well as a few international superstar guests soon to be announced."
