MONTREAL - Father-and-son filmmakers Ivan and Jason Reitman will hold court at this summer's Just For Laughs festival, interviewing one another about their Hollywood adventures.

The Canadian movie-makers will converse at the festival's inaugural Just Comedy industry conference taking place July 17th and 18th, and will question one another and share anecdotes about making movies in Tinseltown.

"We are very honoured to have a father-and-son duo which has been, and will continue to be, a major force in the filmmaking world, at our festival this summer," said Bruce Hills, head of Just For Laughs.

Jason Reitman, who was nominated for a best director Oscar for his teen pregnancy comedy, "Juno," will also attend a so-called master class on filmmaking on July 18.

His father, Ivan, was behind some of the biggest Hollywood comedies of the 1970s and '80s, including "Animal House," "Ghostbusters" and "Stripes."
