Reptile show slithers into town

The scaly creepy crawlies are back again at The Alberta Reptile and Amphibian Society show and sale.
Bearded dragons, geckos, iguanas, boas and pythons are just some of the average, and not so average, reptiles for show and sale this weekend.
Organizer Greg West told Metro the show is a fun and interactive way for reptile lovers and those looking to learn more about the creatures to get a hands-on tutorials.
“If you don’t know much about reptiles, it’s a very educational and fun way to learn. It’s just a really good show,” he said, adding about 4,000 people are expected.
West said there will be a good representation of different types and breeds of animals for show, and also for sale, at the event, to be held this Saturday and Sunday at the Ogden Royal Canadian Legion.
